Compact Storage Systems series 16 electric powered carriages are moved by ¼ hp; 90 volt DC gear motors. Motor controllers provide for soft start/soft stop. This allows users to move thousands of pounds by activating the central safety and control unit. Multiple carriages can be moved in a single activation. This allows for compaction of the units while remaining accessible on demand. The compaction offers substantial savings in floor space or increased capacity up to 75%.

Compact’s series 16 mobile base is manufactures to adapt to customers current pallet racking or industrial shelving.

Compact’s series 16 is a UL listed system; it’s equipped with Infrared photoelectric safety sweeps that scan the full length of both sides of each carriage. Safety sweeps will prevent or immediately stop movement if an obstruction is encountered or the beam is broken. Both an audible horn and amber light are activated 3 seconds prior to carriage movement.

Compact’s series 16 carriage is designed to travel over un-even floor surfaces. Weight is distributed through heavy duty dual guidance wheels running on a low profile rail that can be surface mounted or recessed (3 /8”) into the floor flush.

Compact’s Series 16 can be activated by pushing the control panel activation bottoms, remote activation, and hand held up to 20’ or RF technology ranging from 350’ – 1000 feet
